Emotional Fluency: Breath, Sound & Movement

  • Be Different Studio 45 Hastings Street Napier, Hawke's Bay, 4112 New Zealand (map)

BREATH, SOUND & MOVEMENT with Sarah Beale

Learn the Language of your emotions, how they appear, how your body feels when it speaks to you by way of sensation, gut feeling, knowing…

Becoming FLUENT in your emotions will allow you to flow in life, have a greater capacity for joy as well as the intensity that life brings & will enable you to bend instead of break.

Learning to feel and release your emotions is one of the best ways to relieve stress and prevent disease.

Why is this important? Because from a young age we have been taught to prioritize thinking logically over feeling and sensing, and as a result, we learned to suppress and squash our emotions or to explode in a dangerous and unhealthy manner. We haven’t learnt to be in a loving flow with the ebbs and flows of our emotional energy. We are emotional beings. Whether we like it or not. E-motion is Energy in Motion, and it needs to move in order to be in harmony. So lets get there together!

On this wonderful day immersion we will explore through practices including: Kundalini Yoga, Breathwork, Vocal toning, Movement, Dancing, Shaking, Emotional release tools, Tuning in and dropping into our collective field together.

During this day you will

  • Be guided out of the mind and into the body

  • Begin to understand the way your body is holding emotion & where

  • Start a conversation with your body, learning the language and the way your body speaks to you- emotional fluency

  • Learn ways to accept, embrace and transmute emotion

  • Have an amazing, transformative day with like-minded people

  • Change the way you perceive and react, learning ways to respond

  • Love yourself more- just the way you are!

Who is this for:

  • If you struggle with expressing your emotions in a healthy way

  • People-pleasers & peacemakers

  • Those with repressed emotion

  • If you often numb your emotions through substances, comfort food & scrolling

  • If you’re a very emotional person but can’t quite deal with the level of emotion you feel

About Me (Sarah Beale):

One of my greatest gifts is being emotionally literate. I feel EVERYTHING. I used to see this as a curse but now I realize it can be such a blessing when explored fully and with the right tools.

I’m a yoga teacher with over 11 years teaching experience and even more years of self practice. Yoga has helped me form a healthy relationship with my body and understand its intricate language which involves subtle signals and cues. Getting into breathwork helped me learn to access the subconscious and bravely face what was inside. I have explored many modalities on my path which have assisted me to regulate my nervous system and know when to ‘lean in’ to the emotion and when to ‘let out’ the emotion, as well as healthy ways to do so.

I believe we would have a happy healthier world if people weren’t so emotionally repressed. I want to show you how you can fully meet all aspects of yourself with great acceptance and love.
